Flu Vaccines will NOT be available outside the times mentioned above. NO APPOINTMENT needed.
You are eligible for a FREE NHS Flu Vaccine if you fall under the following risk groups:
All people aged 65 years and over
People aged from 18 years to less than 65 years of age with one or more serious medical conditions outlined below:
Chronic Respiratory Disease (Asthma, COPD, Emphysema)
Chronic Heart Disease such as Heart Failure
Chronic Kidney Disease (Stage 3,4 or 5)
Chronic Liver Disease
Chronic Neurological Disease (Parkinson’s Disease or Motor Neurone Disease)
Diabetes (Type 1 and 2)
Immunosuppression (a weakened immune system, HIV/AIDS) or (such as cancer treatment)
Asplenia or splenic dysfunction
Morbid obesity (BMI of 40 above)
Pregnant women (aged 18 or over at any stage of pregnancy)
People Living in long stay residential care homes
Carers (Aged 18 or over)
Household contacts of immunocompromised individuals & Shielded patients.
